Stem Cell Immobilization for Orthopedic Implantation

Mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) retained at the site of orthopedic implantation have shown success in facilitating tissue regeneration and reducing healing time. The team developed an active, MSC-selective thin film that directly coats implants. The goal is to simultaneously isolate, concentrate, and immobilize MSCs onto orthopedic implants.
